“Great place to stay. Our whole family was able to be together and spend quality time with one another. It was comfortable and welcoming! It was so helpful to have a stocked kitchen, large table (big enough for everyone to eat around), and a washer and dryer. The game room was an added bonus! The trail around the house was really the only place to explore near the house. The roads are narrow, so walking or biking were not safe. “We had an amazing time! We were able to fully utilize the kitchen and grill to prepare meals throughout the whole weekend as the appliances worked and there was enough cooking ware for our needs. The bathrooms were clean and the hot tub was nice! The table games in the basement were fun to use too!Some of the doors were hard to fully close and/or lock. The lock box at the front door was finicky too. There was a broken step down to the river that should be fixed as it's currently a hazard”

“Beautiful setting, great hosts, clean house that felt bright and airy. We had a large rain just prior to our stay that caused the River to rise above the bridge. Host reached out right away and kept us informed frequently of status and progress. Bridge was passable just hours prior to our arrival but we had no issues thanks to her great communication. “Our stay here was outstanding. The house was clean, spacious, and close to many shops/restaurants. Our first evening we spent in downtown Winchester which was an easy drive from the home. The next day was spent at the Virginia Scottish Games, about 35 minutes away. The house was definitely worth the stay! We had a great time. It was even one of the best smelling houses we had ever rented! 100% recommend and would stay again. ”
