“Our family of 6 enjoyed our stay by the river. The area is beautiful! Sadly it rained and flooded the river so we only got to enjoy swimming/fishing for 1 days, but we had lots of fun hiking the Shenedoah mountains and exploring the nearby areas. Our kids enjoyed fishing in the pond as well. Lots to do in the area with lots of delicious food and coffee options! We definitely recommend this place. ”

“House was lovely, well appointed and furnished. Nice amenities, very clean and Giant kitchen. Owner/manager was quick to respond and very accommodating.The road to access the house and the gravel driveway may be challenging to some cars and the road requires nerves of steel to drive in stormy weather but we managed. Some on our party found the strong iron smell very off putting in the bathrooms/showers. We ended up buying bottled water to drink. Owner might consider having a water filter in……

The local area was filled with amazing hustory that just added to our trip! Everything we would have wanted was anywhere from just a block ir two away to only a short drive. If we ever get back to this area, we'll definitely be looking for this house again! ”
