“Very quaint little place in the woods for privacy. Would recommend it for a couple.”

“Description of house in listing was accurate. House was well stocked. Host was very accomodating and responsive to messages. Location was remote so nice for groups looking for a break away from the city, but still close enough to both Strasburg and Winchester which were great for shopping and events. Only request would be access to a washer/dryer (which we knew wouldnt be available from the listing) but just would be nice for convenience when you are staying for a good period of time.”

“It was a short stay for us, only two days, but we loved every minute of it. We were looking for a place to break up the 11 hour drive home from Tennessee to NY and we were fortunate to have found this location.The scenery is jaw dropping. I would describe it better here, but that would ruin the incredible surprise you get when you turn the corner just minutes from the house and see it for the first time…The house was beautiful and spotless and contained everything necessary to feel at home. “You can really tell the house is cared for. It feels like a home. It had everything you could need. They have a well stocked kitchen and even supply snacks. The beds were very comfortable. The yard is huge with a stream behind it with a Great fire pit. I do recommend this property and will definitely go back”

“Had a great time loved the house and location ”

“The house was so lovely and the setting was secluded. So much attention to the small details that make a good stay a great one. A perfect getaway!”

“The property was perfect for our weekend getaway to just relax and unwind. The grill, hot tub and fire pit were all nice extras that we appreciated having!”

“We needed a good middle location between NC and NY for our girls weekend. This home had 3 bedrooms and 2 1/12 baths, worked perfect for the 3 of us. Very clean! Check in was a bit challenging, they send you the info on the lock box but don't mention it's on the back side of a front porch post, in the dark with cellphone for lighting...but VRBO connected us with host quickly who let us know where it was, then it was easy peasey. “You might have thought you stayed at a place where the owner put a lot of thought into taking care of you, but you’ve never stayed here, I travel for work I book through vrbo three out of the four weeks of a month by far the best treatment and presentation by a host I’ve ever had my hats off to this host for the tremendous thought and effort he has put into you!!! “This cabin is amazing! Very authentic, mountain cabin and a more modern basement for variety. We loved it! Only issues were minor, such as low water pressure, especially when more than one of us was showering, no hot water in the downstairs shower, and ants on the kitchen counter, but no biggies, we still loved it and would do it again! Hopefully we’ll get back someday!”
