“The pictures barely do the house justice - the living spaces are HUGE, and the wraparound porch on the second floor has beautiful views. Less than two hours from DC, even with a little traffic. We would absolutely stay again!”

“We LOVED staying at this property. It is modernly decorated, yet still cozy. The location is private and quiet just as we wanted. I loved being able to spend most of my time outside either on the swing, fire pit, or relaxing in the tub. The driveway is a bit rough, so I’m glad we did have my truck. I would not have liked to go up in my previous vehicle that was lower to the ground. Communication with the host Ben was prompt and clear. You won’t be disappointed if you book your next trip to this……

“The cabin was nicely located on the river, but was a little loud at times from truck noise on the road. Interior was clean and comfortable. The code wasn't updated at check-in, and it took us about 5-10 minutes of standing outside at night to get it resolved. Also, the guest house lights randomly went on during our second evening and shone bright lights into the cabin. Manager did not respond until the next morning.”

“My wife and I were looking for a place like this to spend the weekend and have some quiet time away from the "city." The house was very clean, our dogs loved the large backyard, and we enjoyed our stay! The host keeps a large supply of cookware/utensils and we had everything we needed to cook dinner. There is also a huge collection of board games which we had not played in a long time. It was a relaxing weekend, and we did not have any issues during our stay. Would highly recommend this place! ”

“Met a friend here after I had been camping/cycling the C&O from DC. Shower was great as were the facilities. Not too many places for a decent meal in town but we made do with the gas station pizza! ”

“This is a fabulous place to stay. Everything is clean and very well maintained. It has everything you need! It's beautiful and the setting is quiet and peaceful. There are special touches everywhere. We had a slight issue at check-in, but Paul was easy to contact and he fixed it immediately. I would definitely stay again!”
