I am a lover of log cabins and this one did not disappoint - every room/space was gorgeous. Looking up while reading in the library to see the spectacular views was unmatched! On a personal note - owner Jim was very helpful in assisting me and answering questions. Can’t wait to come back! ”

“We loved our stay here. The view of the mountains is stunning, the house was comfortable and well furnished, and Miguel was very responsive to any questions. It’s only a short drive to Woodstock where you can get good food/coffee/etc. and near a lot of great parks and hikes. I’m sure it would be gorgeous in the fall or winter and we would definitely come back to this property. The driveway is steep so a larger car is helpful but if you drive slowly most vehicles would likely be fine. The kitchen……

Kitchen was fully stocked with all you could need for cooking, including a variety of spices and good kitchen knives. Game room was an amazing bonus! Would definitely recommend for a relaxing and quiet vacation!”

“Nice house with plenty of room. We really enjoyed the deck with the beautiful mountain view. We also enjoyed the fire pit and the hot tub.”

“We had an amazing time. We wanted something away from our busy daily life and get the kids away from everything and off the phones. The lake was beautiful and basically your own private lake. We only seen two people while there. We checked out the little shops. Garden market was my favorite they had great baked goods. We checked out some trails and stopped at a small beach for the day. “Comfortable and nice layout for group of nine friends during extended wine tasting weekend. The kitchen was wonderfully stocked as we do most of our cooking on these types of outings. Communication with owner was timely and responsive. Even the wildlife (deer, woodchuck, bunnies, etc.) were fun to watch as we relaxed on the back porch. All-in-all, a fantastic place to stay in a beautiful part of Virginia. ”

“The cabin was everything I hoped it would be...and more. The kitchen was decked out with beautiful dishes, glassware and cookware. The linens and towels were luxurious. The mattress in the bedroom was quite comfortable and the sleep sofa mattress ... I could sleep on that every night. Very unexpected quality for a sleep sofa. The views were breathtaking. We were lucky to enjoy a rainstorm and got to listen to the rain on the tin roof. It was hard to leave. 5 stars.”
