“Hello, The property was very clean. My (older) mother is a stickler for clean and she was pleasantly surprised. The outlet in the upstairs bathroom did not work. We tried the GFCI and no luck. Not a problem as the bedrooms had working outlets. We struggled with the front door keypad. Otherwise, had a wonderful stay. ”

“My husband and two of our sons and their wives stayed here for an extended Thanksgiving get together. Each couple traveled approximately six hours from different directions . We were aware that this was a very secluded area and we were fine with that. Played a lot of pickleball and took walks on empty roads. Went in to Old Town Winchester for shopping and dining one day. Only about fifteen minutes and lots to see and do.If you’re looking for a real getaway, this place is great.”

“We found the cabin to have all the comforts of home while nestled quietly in the national forest and its snow covered beauty! We enjoyed visits from a screech owl in the evening and watching the deers’ daily foraging through the woods. Grateful.”

“My wife and I rented Cozy Creek Cabin so that our adult daughters who are all living or going to school in the Winchester/MD area could come and spend Thanksgiving with us. We had a great time and the house was really nice. The location is beautiful and everything was clean and working well. The Internet was spotty at times, but for the most part we could stream our usual shows when we wanted to and the grad students could do their work. My only complaint is that there are no accessible……

“My husband and i shared our honeymoon here together. It was perfect! The owner was so wonderful and the place is super special. We were looking for a relaxing place to stay in the mountains and couldn't have asked for a better time.Being able to lay in bed and view the stars was so great. We were lucky enough to see the meteor shower from the hot tub. Normally when we stay at a place the grill is gross and not usable...but here it was not the case and we got to grill an amazing meal using local……

“We stayed for a long weekend following Christmas - needed to get away from the city for a bit. It's a beautiful house with a great view and good location. It was just 3 of us so the space was fine -- I am not sure I would recommend it for a larger group in winter, as you'd really be on top of each other. For the other three seasons, the deck, hot-tub, and firepit would all be great ways to spread out. Would definitely love to go back sometime in the future!”
