“We came for a meteor shower, to find a cloudy sky. But the cozy home, clean air, and quiet made up for it in spades.I was honestly surprised when we checked in, the photos provided made the home seem much older than it is. Instead, we found a house that looked almost like it'd never been lived in. It was clean and well-kept. The kitchen was fully stocked and everything we used worked well.My only real complaint was that previous renters did not clean the kitchenware as well as they should……

“This was our second visit to Walden and, as with the first time, it did not disappoint. We were there for 3 nights and had the property all to ourselves. It was very relaxing watching the river flow by slowly and the dogs had a blast playing in the field. Deer were everywhere in the morning and at dusk. We will be back again for sure.”

“The cabin is wonderful and the grounds are amazing. Unlike other spots along this road, we had cell service. Everything is there that you would need. Bring a couple more rolls of TP and paper towels. The screened in porch is the perfect place to eat, watch the river, play games. Beds are comfortable with extra blankets if needed. Convenient to Skyline Drive, Luray, the caverns, and hikes.”

“Great family getaway. Cute and fun, i would just say it was lacking on providing full amenties and cleaniness. For example there was a brochure of listed items provided in cabin and their charges, we didnt have a couple of listed items such as the smores kit. Our unit was equipped with full items to cook with such as oil packets but the unit next to ours (used by same group) had oil and others things we did not. Just inconsistent with products available. With this in consideration i would rate……
