“Walden was exactly as advertised. We loved the cozy atmosphere and creature comforts. Due to rainy weather we did not get to utilize a lot of the outdoor and riverside amenities but recognized them for being available had the weather cooperated. Derek was very responsive to any needs we had. We loved the screened porch and ate their and enjoyed drinks despite the weather. We are already planning a return visit.”

“Convenient for a weekend getaway. Walking distance to Shenandoah River Outfitters, which is great for tubing. An easy drive to Luray and numerous wineries, etc. Check-in was easy, and we were invited to check in about an hour early. The Wifi is a T-Mobile Hotspot, which worked fine for working remotely but unfortunately does not support most streaming services like Netflix. The beds were comfortable and the property was clean. The property in general could use a bit of maintenance and repair……
