“I see what the owners were trying to do with this property but it isn’t quiet there. When you first walk in you’re met with smoker smells throughout the house, along with wood stove pellet bags laying out on the floor that we about tripped over bringing our luggage in. Throughout the house there are simple things that are overlooked and concerning. No outlet covers on multiple outlets, light bulb sockets with no bulbs, no drain plug for my child to take a bath, no butter knives only sharp……

“House was clean. Very nice, quiet property. About 4 miles of gravel road to get here, so would recommend a vehicle that can handle it. Cell service in the area was patchy, so GPS for trips was in and out. We would definitely stay here again if we take another trip to Berkeley Springs!”

“We stayed here for our anniversary. The area itself is gorgeous. The town is full of things to do. Definitely somewhere for more of a leisurely vacation instead of jam-packed. We love the house the positioning of the hot tub so that you can watch TV was perfect. We definitely want to come back probably in the summer so that we can utilize the pool and bring friends just so we can introduce them to the area because we loved it so much. out of 10 highly recommend this location”

“We enjoyed our stay at this adorable place! The host was very attentive and made sure everything met our expectations. The house itself was immaculate and was perfect for our couple's getaway to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. The hot tub on the balcony was amazing. We highly recommend this property for a peaceful place to stay. The only negatives were that it was a little difficult to find the lane and the road was a bit rough (but it was worth it!). ”

“This was a perfect house for a rustic get together with friends, and just a few minutes from downtown Berkeley Springs. Set on a wooded lot, the house was immaculate with lots of room and things to do. Including a game room, 3 tvs and plenty of room to gather together or find a quiet place to relax. “We stayed for one night while passing through. Pros: communication with property manager was excellent; hot tub was very clean, place was spacious. Cons: would have loved curtains/ blinds on windows especially bedrooms; having more towels for hot tub would be nice; couch smelled like urine. Overall OK stay for a night.”

“The cabin is very spacious and welcoming inside, the hot tub and outdoor area is amazing, the walk to river was fun and relaxing, the kids had a blast collecting shells and trying to catch craw fish. “My friends and I enjoyed our time at the cabin, which was clean and quiet in a beautiful location.However, the listing did not indicate that there is a road with a steep incline that you need to drive up in order to reach the home, and one of our vehicles was not able to make it up the hill with snow on the road. “We had a great time! The property was just as described...the sauna and hot tub were so much fun! It was great not having to drag along so much for the kids--we had a two month old and a 20 month old. Everything was so clean and welcoming! We definitely will book again!”
