“Description of house in listing was accurate. House was well stocked. Host was very accomodating and responsive to messages. Location was remote so nice for groups looking for a break away from the city, but still close enough to both Strasburg and Winchester which were great for shopping and events. Only request would be access to a washer/dryer (which we knew wouldnt be available from the listing) but just would be nice for convenience when you are staying for a good period of time.”

Check in was a bit challenging, they send you the info on the lock box but don't mention it's on the back side of a front porch post, in the dark with cellphone for lighting...but VRBO connected us with host quickly who let us know where it was, then it was easy peasey. “My wife and I were looking for a place like this to spend the weekend and have some quiet time away from the "city." The house was very clean, our dogs loved the large backyard, and we enjoyed our stay! The host keeps a large supply of cookware/utensils and we had everything we needed to cook dinner. There is also a huge collection of board games which we had not played in a long time. It was a relaxing weekend, and we did not have any issues during our stay. Would highly recommend this place! ”
