“No bells and whistles but if you need a place to crash, this will meet your needs. They do offer a complimentary breakfast but we didn’t partake. There are NO elevators so keep that in mind if you’re not able to handle stairs easily and you get roomed on the 2nd or 3rd floor. ”

“This trip was a surprise 40th birthday trip for my fiance. The house is absolutely beautiful! The wood stove inside is super cozy, the hammock swings outside are an amazing place to relax and read. If you want to unplug from the world and relax and recharge, the lazy bear is the place to go. The host was amazing at answering all our questions. We can't wait to come back. ”

“Our stay was wonderful. The house was just as described and we were quite happy that coffee was provided since we were cycling and we didn't have any with us. Comfy beds and nice sitting area. The only "complaint" was no screens in the windows. It got quite hot and we couldn't adjust the temp, but also couldn't open windows because no screens. Otherwise, a perfect stay! ”

“We went to celebrate a birthday…not much to do outside in the middle of winter but we drove to Rocky Gap State Park and Cumberland Train depot. The cabin was clean and we enjoyed a snow day the day we left! ”

“Wonderful, clean home with a gracious host. Only issue was the beds. They were rock hard; we didnt sleep much on this trip.”
