“My second stay at Hotel Killarney, and it feels like my home-away-from-home in Killarney. Fantastic staff, huge and nice rooms, great pool and exercise facilities, nice dining and restaurant options, big and good buffet breakfast included, lots of free parking on site. The only downside is that it is about a 30 minute walk to downtown Killarney and there's no shuttle option. But, to be fair, AFAIK, no other hotels runs shuttles to downtown Killarney, and the city doesn’t have any public……

“Large and classically decorated rooms. Next to the river with its relaxing sound if you go to the garden or the Summer House. Delicious breakfast. Only caveat: a walk to the centre of town takes 22 min. Or it will set you back €17 by Uber. Think twice if you haven't got a car.”

“Overall, very good. The location is great. South of Killarney, so if you want to be in the middle of pubs and restaurants and such, this may not be the place for you, but we loved that we could walk to Muckross Abbey, and that we were right by the lake and Torc Waterfall with short drives. They offered free bike rental, which I'd have loved if we had more time. The staff were very friendly. Both the person who checked us in, and the one who checked us out, were super-friendly, and were quick……

“Perfect setting”

“The Castlerosse Park Resort is a beautiful resort nestled in the middle of Killarney national park. My husband and I and our two children spent two nights and the accommodations were perfect as they even had a rollaway bed set up for my son the resort offers bike rentals, which were perfect to ride all the different bike trails around Killarney, some as to which even led you into the main street of downtown and to close tourist sites like Ross Castle and Mike Ross Abbey. Killarney riding stables……

“Great hotel! Situated right in the middle of the town with easy parking close by. Staff were friendly and helpful. Accommodation was above the bar area but it was not noisy. Included breakfast was great. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend it.”
