“Family gathered from east, west, and middle US for my father’s memorial and stayed in several different places. This was a joyous gathering as he had lived a good long life leaving us with many happy memories to share. We had Saturday dinner at Indigo house which easily accommodated the 25-30 of us for a pot luck buffet of bbq burgers, salmon and oven baked short ribs finished on the grill. “A positive for this home is its location. Negative for this place is its location. It’s great because you can walk to restaurants, bars, museums, and the river. The negative about the location is that it’s right on a busy highway. Less than 10 feet from the road. Unfortunately loud construction was also being done right across the highway. The host was very accommodating to our needs. They were able to program our heating system from their phone as we could not make any changes on the property..……

“The house is very cute and extremely clean and decorated very tastefully. The host left a package of danishes from the local bakery, which was a nice touch. The beds were comfortable and the bedding was so cozy. This however is not a home for someone who has mobility issues. The issues we had were as follows1) bathtub - HIGH step in to the pedestal tub could be a challenge for some - our friend literally fell out of the tub. Luckily she had piled all of her personal items on the toliet so……

“Great house for a getaway with childhood friends. Roomy home. Beautifully decorated. Everything we needed. Quiet neighborhood. Driveway fits 4 cars. Large backyard. (Raining, so we didn't get to use the firepit). ”

“My brother and our families (4 adults, 5 teens) stayed at the Hideaway along with our 2 dogs. Great place! Plenty of comfortable beds for all to have their own space. Living room area and the large dining table was great for playing board games. The dogs (and kids) loved running around in the woods and around the lake. The kitchen is massive, with plenty of room for multiple people to cook and well stocked with every type of pan, utensil or sharp knife you might need! We definitely will……
