“I can't say enough about how wonderful this place is. It is rustic, peaceful and quiet with a beautiful view. The breakfast is excellent and the hospitality is outstanding. My only word of caution is that there are many steep stairs to get from the road to the property so it wouldnt be appropriate for people living with mobility limitations. Otherwise i highly recommend it. ”

“I made a booking after reading all information on the website. It looked good and convenient to Ella.
Well, the trip up the mountain to reach the Red Rock was positively dangerous! It was slippery, muddy, very narrow and steep. To top it off it was raining!
I arrived in a trembling mess and found that the Red Rock was dirty, smelly, had not mosquito nets and I was stuck there!!
There were no restaurants I could access, so I ate fried rice for my evening meals (at an additional charge).

“This property is situated on a beautiful hill where you can see sunrise just like from Little Adam’s Peak. Rooms are old fashioned train station themed, which adds nice touch. Free yoga session is nice addition. Reception staff is nice but the restaurant staff in the morning breakfast are not very attentive.
Overall our stay was good, but with the price point of view Ella now has another amazing new resort nearby. But if you want to stay in close proximity to Ella town this hotel is best. ”

“This place is magical! Truly a stay in the jungle. There’s no road to the cabin so the last part you have to walk on the railway. “We had amazing stay here. Amazing staff. Indika (server) & Dewan (hiking guide) stood out for us, top notch service. Food is okay at the restaurant but they have good selection of the breakfast in the morning. I highly recommend this place.
