“We really enjoyed this little chalet, especially the wood fireplace. We had to bring our own wood (available at the depanneur, but we got ours at Canadian Tire for 10). The kitchen was very well-equipped and we cooked a big meal one evening. Only thing that was missing was sugar for coffee and paper towels / napkins. It's hard to see from the listing photos, but the chalet is very close to other properties and right on a street so it doesn't have a very private/rustic feel, but it was nice……

“We stayed at le vicomte and grand duc for 3 days during winter. Very nice, clean and quiet place to stay for a family of 4 and could work for 6 comfortably. Very clean and it had everything you need. I was able to cook meals for my family easily as everything i meed is on hand. The communication with the owner is easy thru email and Marie is very nice and welcoming. Highly recommen and would definitley go back during summer i meed is ”

“We stayed at Genevieve’s house for a ski vacation at Mont Orford - it really is only 5 minutes from the hill. We had all facilities that we needed while there. This is a quaint, quirky century old home…there were sitting areas outside of each bedroom on top of the spacious living room, dining room and breakfast eating area. Genevieve was available for any questions or concerns without delay and was most accommodating. As stated by others the staircases are steep but there are now grippy pads……
