“I only gave it 4/5 on accuracy of the listing, because it was even better than I expected from the description. Karl, a low key, but attentive host, welcomed us with quick instructions on how to use some of the appliances, etc. The furnishings, cookware, dishes, and utensils were the best I have ever seen in a rental property—6 cutting boards! We cooked breakfast and dinner all 4 days. The setting, which overlooked Loch Eil, was rural, with sheep, birds and deer; just an incredibly peaceful……

“This has to be one of the best places for its views that I have been to. So quiet and peaceful, sun was out, absolutely breath taking! Lodge was spotless, spacious and would definitely come back. Well worth the money! ”

“Stunning views from the lodge and private hot tub. Spotlessly clean, well equipped kitchen, perfect for our 1 night, however a little dated in places and in need of a bit of tlc. ”

Nice for short stay

"In general, it is good enough for travellers. City view with nearby restaurants. Saw a few young staff while checking in. Look like a family-run business. The room is large with a comfortable bed. Breakfast is a set rather than a buffet. "

"Very very bad experience with high room rate. First day check in the radiator was malfunction, then the manager offered a dusty and dirty portable heater. The hair dryer also occasionally out of order. The second day the room was cleaned with used towels left and room and floor was not cleaned. The third day no cleansing and also NO hot water supply. Though staff were tried to help and offered bottle of wine, but you can imagine how bad the experience during the stay. Will tell my friends not to stay in this group of hotel again. "
