“Jonathan and Megan are amazing hosts— thoughtful, responsive, and just all around wonderful folks. The property is always clean, comfortable, and well appointed. Our family enjoyed being so close to Murray, yet removed from the town enough to enjoy the wooded and peaceful location. The patios are delightful to enjoy a morning cup of coffee or an evening to watch the fireflies. Our 12 year old son loved the larger living room area to spread out for his space. The kitchen has everything one needs……

“I was very impressed with the cabin, the setting and all. It was amazingly clean, and comfortable. We had a plumbing problem and our host, Bart, fixed the same moning. Very efficient. Definitely will go back!”

“We needed a roomy place for family, two couples and a single adult, to stay for a wedding in the area. The place was clean, roomy and we were pleasantly surprised by the tray of snacks. Check-in is on the side door and it is not on GPS yet but we got there OK. It is a new house and on a short gravel road.Beds were comfy, plenty of towels, TVs worked and ice in the fridge was good. I would rent here again if back in the area.”

“Heron's Rest was the perfect spot for a lakeside getaway with friends. The house is beautiful with a large porch, and the fire pit was nice too. The pool is a short drive from the property, but was more than manageable. Highly recommend booking a stay here.”

“Loved the location and view. House was clean. Furniture is a little out dated and worn. The grill was still full of used charcoal. All in all I would not hesitate renting this property again. Satisfied customer.”

“We came down for an anniversary trip, my husband myself and our two girls (8 &4). We had the best time! We swam off the dock for a bit then went to Murray and over to Tennessee. We only came down for the weekend but we loved the little house so much. Our girls didn’t want to leave and neither did we. We plan to come back for a longer stay soon!
