“Worked for us! The cottage is old, but in a great location. We were traveling with a dog, and this was one of the few pet friendly houses available.”

“The cottage itself was cute and if properly cleaned and maintained it would have been wonderful. The floor/tiles in one bathroom were loose, in the other bathroom the floor felt "squishy" and there were multiple broken/cracked shelves in the shower. Two of the burners on the stove did not work and when using the stove/oven there was smoke. The window when opened to alleviate the smoke would not stay open. This property allows pets and unfortunately their cleaning and repairs do not keep up with……

“Our family of 10 2 dogs stayed here and had a wonderful time! The house was super clean, well stocked and communication with Paul and Christine was easy and quick. We appreciated the location, close to the beach, shops, restaurants, etc. We will definitely be back for another family vacation in the near future! ”

“Very clean and quiet place. A bit dated in the bedroom furnishings and the price was reflective of needing some updates. I would absolutely stay here again. The beach wasnt crowded and most of the street are residents vs rentals.”

“Overall, it’s a great location, literally across the street from the beach, and it’s nice for a long weekend. The house itself is older and there’s no outdoor light to sit out on the porch, which was disappointing because it was hard to see out there at night. Secondly, there were lots of thorns from bushes on the rugs and dust when we arrived, which we took care of.”

“We had the best time celebrating Mother’s Day weekend at Michelle’s home in Duck. The location was ideal- 5 min walk to the beach and a 1 min drive to restaurants/shops. The home had multiple amenities to make going to the beach a breeze- a wagon to help transport gear (plus a fun ride for our 2 year old!), beach umbrellas, chairs, towels, and even sand toys. The house was extremely kid friendly with books, games, toys, and bunk beds. For the adults we loved the hot tub and both the screened in……

“Dog friendly 4 bedroom 2 bath house. Outdoor stairs easier for some to get to second floor. The spiral staircase inside is not ideal for people who may have mobility issues. Comfortable temperature control. W/D in good working condition. Limited cooking utensils. May want to bring favorite pots/pans if you’re planning on meal prep. We all felt very comfortable staying there and the location is tops!! Centrally located and close to beaches, shops, restaurants , etc. Two very friendly cats live……

“there were burrs stuck throughout the carpet, a stench of sewerage or trash rot at the bottom of the steps, wifi non-existent and when contacted the owner nothing was done and no response, lights dont work in bedroom or outside, only 2 rolls of toilet paper for 4 adults for 4 days, lawn not mowed and totally overgrown, no beach chair that you would want to use, no screens in window. rusty chairs on front porch-all for more than $1800. too bad this house didnt have a little TLC or upkeep since……

“The good: location to beach, clean, close to favorite restaurants. The bad: only 2 burners worked on stove, not crazy about smart TV. All in all we enjoyed our stay and had a good time. Liked walking dog on beach every day.”
