“Our second visit here, because we enjoyed it so much the first time. Balcony room leads out to a nice well-maintained space. Bathroom has an excellent shower, bed is comfortable and sizeable. Easy walking distance to the town centre, and a couple of excellent restaurants and pubs close by. Only slight downsides are that a bath would be nice, and even though there is a substantial breakfast buffet there is no facility for other meals or room service.”

“Hotel is vrij nieuw met alle voordelen daarvan. Moderne goed uitgeruste kamer met een bierthema. We logeerden in de kamer ‘water’ net boven het rokers gedeelte van het terras. Dat zou hinderlijk kunnen zijn met het raam open. Complimenten aan het vriendelijke en alerte personeel. Ontbijt, aan tafel geserveerd, was uitstekend. ”

“Das Hotel und das Zimmer waren sehr sauber und gepflegt. Der Mann an der Rezeption war sehr zuvorkommend und sehr nett. Das Frühstück war gut und lecker. Wir kommen wieder !!”

“Voormalig stadhuis omgebouwd tot hotel. Kamer groot, goed bed, badkamer open met kamer zelf. Systeemplafond is helaas blijven hangen. Schone nette kamer, echter wat steriel. Ontbijt uitstekend. Wel lawaai snachts van lokale jeugd die zich verveeld”

“Prima uitvalsbasis voor weekend in Drenthe met zelfs hunebedden op loopafstand (wel even goed zoeken). Comfortabele bedden, alleen de kussens waren vel te dik en er waren helaas geen andere, dunnere kussens beschikbaar. Maar dat was ook het enige minpuntje.”

All modern with hotel like properties or go full camp and stay in the cabins. We just wanted a clean room to sleep and were surprised that it beats out most good hotels for survice.
