“We had a great time here. The property is very nice, charming, well kept, quiet and thoughtfully equipped. We appreciated the full kitchen, fluffy towels and towel warmer that worked quite well, the abundance of chargers and outlets, the French press and coffee as well as the hot, fresh, home made breakfast each morning that came complete with assorted cut fruit, yogurt, orange juice and a tasty hot entree. “There isn't a great amount to do in this historical locale, but a short drive puts you in the redwoods or to some dining options. The grocery store across the street makes great fresh sandwiches. The rooms are unique, quiet, and well appointed. There was a very nice sitting area just outside the door of our room. The staff persons were all nice, accommodating, we enjoyed our arrival refreshment. If you want to stay in a peaceful, historic building, this lodge woorks well.”
