“Very cozy cabin. The host had a supply of coffee, tea condiments ect. and a basket with some snacks on the table, it was very thoughtful and much appreciated.”

“We had a good time in Wellsboro. The house was nice, the bed was comfortable. The only issue we had was with the amount of noise from traffic on the road and one night people were on the back of the property racing around. Which we realize the owner can't control that. We had room to park our boat too. Everything else was good. Would recommend this rental to others.”

“The Octagon was a great venue for a Memorial Day Weekend trip of eight life-long friends. Our 47th year! The house was perfect sized and offering room to hang out inside as well as outside by the fire pit. We cooked three dinners and found the kitchen perfect for our needs. Very secluded and no fear of disturbing neighbors with music or yelling during horseshoes matches. “Enjoyed being cozy in the woods and close enough to hiking and going into town. Wonderful stay! Loved the window seat for reading and looking at the trees. ”

“I will speak out of my perspective what could help this vacation spot be even better (we liked it for purpose of rest and staycation). I didn't realize that it was part of , let's say resort, for a lack of better word, but it was really out of that complex anyway, house on the side of route 6, so yes, you can hear lots of trucks passing by from a queen size room which is on that side of the house, facing route 6, but other 2 bedrooms, king size and with 2 double beds, are facing behind the house……
