“Very cozy cabin. The host had a supply of coffee, tea condiments ect. and a basket with some snacks on the table, it was very thoughtful and much appreciated.”

“We had a good time in Wellsboro. The house was nice, the bed was comfortable. The only issue we had was with the amount of noise from traffic on the road and one night people were on the back of the property racing around. Which we realize the owner can't control that. We had room to park our boat too. Everything else was good. Would recommend this rental to others.”

“We had a lovely time at this cabin. It was very clean and nicely decorated. The back yard is very nice and loved sitting on the front porch. Location was great - easy access to many scenic areas. Good restaurants in the area as well. ”

“The Octagon was a great venue for a Memorial Day Weekend trip of eight life-long friends. Our 47th year! The house was perfect sized and offering room to hang out inside as well as outside by the fire pit. We cooked three dinners and found the kitchen perfect for our needs. Very secluded and no fear of disturbing neighbors with music or yelling during horseshoes matches. “I needed a couple of days of quiet just to think and this was PERFECT! Don gave excellent recommendations for the hikes int he area, and there were plenty of good places within 30 minutes to eat. I would definitely return!!”

“My partner and I stayed here for a long weekend and had a very nice time. It’s a bit farther back in the woods than I expected, but it gave us a lot of privacy which was appreciated! It was nice and cozy and I loved being able to sit by the electric fireplace and play games. Daryl gave great directions to the cabin and was very communicative and helpful! ”
