“This hotel was very nice and we loved the creative restoration and repurposing of the building. It was clean and great location. Not sure we will stay there again though simply because the cost was pretty high but it was a neat spot for an overnight or a weekend in Frederick. ”

We went fishing and walked on the Forge all the way across right at our front door. One of the best places I ever stayed. Must visit Downtown Shepherdtown and Hapers Ferry. Sooo much history . Also must eat at Rock Hill Creamery absolutely the best ice cream Ive ever had.”

Great opportunity to expose grandkids to how things were 220 years ago and explain significance of a spring house back then. Sitting on the big porch watching birds and kids was a treat for this grandma. ”
