The owner communicated well with us which made for less stess when arriving on the Island late at night. This is also our favorite area of the Island because of its proximity to 2 step and Keauhou Bay as well as for its layed back atmosphere. This is our new favorite place to stay at on the Big Island. We can't wait to revisit.”

“We can’t say enough good things about our stay. The pictures do not do it justice. We were not at all bothered by the third floor walk up the stairs as it provided us with the most beautiful ocean views with breathtaking sunsets. The house has everything you need. The AC is a perk as we have twice stayed in Hawaii without it and this was so much better. We saw whales and dolphins right off the lanai while we enjoyed our morning breakfasts. The location was superb, we could easily get to……

“This house is exactly as described. Room for 8 (if 2 are thin and short or are children). The host is very communicative and helpful. The check in and check out process is very easy. There are games in the basement and the host has a whole shed of snorkels, fins, chairs, beach equipment, etc. Really great if you've come from far and obviously couldn't pack your own.Why this house might not be for you: it is rural. If you want to go to Kona it's 1 to 1 1/2 hours away. Volcanoes NPS is about 2……
