“Such a cool space! Set right in the heart of Humboldt's famous redwoods, but only a quick drive to town (Fieldbrook, Blue Lake especially) and SUPER peaceful. We had plenty of floor space for my bestie to set up an air mattress as well. Hosts were super friendly and accommodating - would love to come back again sometime soon!”

“Terrific house for a larger gathering of family and friends. Comfortable bedrooms and fun common spaces, including a huge pool/game room and an expansive deck. The small oceanside village of Trinidad is a real jewel, with a number of scenic beaches within walking or short driving distance. We especially enjoyed the beach immediately accessible by a short trail from the house. Some features of the house are a bit dated but this is far outweighed by the overall comfort, amenities, and location……

“Wonderful small book group reunion hosted here. Well stocked kitchen and dining area and comfy areas for conversation. Love the bedrooms and natural light. Lovely to get eggs and milk at the neighborhood farm. We enjoyed Brick & Fire Bistro, the Sequoia Park Zoo & Garden, and Arcata Farmers Market. We hope to return next year”

“We chose the boathouse to have our small dog with us. But it was a bonus for us too. It is darling decorated in the nautical theme. Our host thought of so many things to make it homey. I wasn’t sure what to expect, like napkins, paper towels and tissues, so didn’t have to go to the market right away. We would rebook if we are going to the north coast. Sorry didn’t take pictures!”
