“I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Rinjani Lodge. Though I did not hike Rinjani, I wanted to be at the base of it to enjoy walks to waterfalls and enjoy the view of the volcano and forest from the lodge's lovely infinity pools! The room was clean and spacious. The air conditioner stopped working one night and by early the next morning they had already fixed it. They have efficient laundry service. I read some complaints about the food menu at the restaurant, but I appreciated the variety of options……

“Was ok until the unfortunate passengers who’d been rerouted from Bali all descended on our hotel. The hotel was just not capable of dealing with such demand and traffic so service was incredibly slow and disorganised. They ran out of food and they ran out of alcohol.”

“Hébergement bon marché, géré par du personnel très jeune, le ménage est "survolé". On vous conseille vivement les chambres du 1er étage. Équipements sommaires (douches équipées que d'un phare de douche par exemple) . Les chambres dites "standard" sont à éviter, elles sentent le renfermé car pas de circulation d'air. “Hotels.com doesn't pay to this hotel since long time ago, so they didn't let me stay. Moreover, the location hotels.com was giving me continuously was wrong. I spent like 4h talking with hotels.com agents and finally they didn't relocate me. And as the agents took me 4h asking the same question, when they told me I wasn't going to be relocated, it was too late to find another hotel on my own. So I had to sleep on the street. “The staff were very friendly and helpful. Food and drink were good. The hotel looks nice from the outside but the rooms were terrible. My first room, 4115 had blood stains on the bedsheet, mold on the ceiling and the balcony door couldn’t close. After i told the front desk they gave me another room. The 2nd room, 4117, was even worse. There were stains everywhere. I had to use a towel on top of the bedsheet and the bathroom was stinky from the drainage. Both rooms had terrible sound proof.……

“Decent place to stay, bed is comfortable and the rooms are small. Hot shower and western toilet in the room. The price includes breakfast which was very simple but good. It’s about 10 minutes drive from central Sembalun so keep that in mind as there are not many places to eat nearby. Overall if you’re looking for a place to stay and rest up for a cheap price I could recommend.”

“Fantastic view from this place! Hot water! Free water during your stay. Staff are really nice and helpful! They have raincoats and umbrella The terrace is very nice. There're MANY warungs nearby this place (also many which aren't at Google maps). So just pick a choice 😉 No need to think you'll have to walk for a long time to have something to eat.
