“Our family had a lovely stay in Phoenicia at the "cozy bungalow." It was very pleasant to walk to town and the bungalow itself was indeed cozy. Enjoyed the sauna probably even more than expected after a long (cold, rainy) hike. Host provided excellent communication for any concerns.”

“The house is a beautiful example of mid century modern design in the vein of Wright's Usonian houses. The amenities are fantastic - we loved the heated pool!”

“Needed a quiet place to get away and focus on developing some business processes and this was an excellent choice. Only regret is that I never made it into the sauna. ”

“We loved the home and location, was a bit disappointed that a washer and dryer were not available but upon reading the house information again I realized that a washer and dryer were not listed so that’s my fault. The house is about 1 1/2 hours from the Bethel Museum that covers the Woodstock music festival. The museum is awesome. The scenery is beautiful and lots of hiking trails. Unfortunately for us it rained the entire trip.”

“Clean property with close access to stores. Perfect for what we needed. Loved having access to a full size washer and dryer. Property manager was very responsive when we needed to extend our stay. ”

“We had an amazing time at this beautiful home! The house was spotless when we arrived, and we were welcomed with a warm fire already going in the wood stove – such a nice touch. Peter and Lara were there to greet us and give us a tour, making us all feel right at home. We also really appreciated how responsive they were when we had a small issue with the hot tub – they took care of it right away. The place is absolutely gorgeous and so unique – you can really see the love and care they put into……

“I needed to get out of town for a weekend. This house and location were perfect! The town is located near the windy and scenic parkway overlooking New Paltz. I brought my dog, who loved the local trails. The house is great for home cooks, dog owners, and families. I highly recommend.”

Close to great hiking, wonderful restaurants, and close to town while still feeling out in the countryside.Nick was a great host…very good with communication and helpful with the checking-in process.
