“Cottage was equipped with everything you would need and more. It was immaculately clean and thoughtfully decorated. The property is quiet and peaceful. I very much enjoyed the large covered deck. The three bedroom Ohana is on the same property, but the layout and landscaping makes it private and quiet. Yes, as one reviewer mentioned, you’ll find that Waimea is cooler at night…. In Hawaii, If you are staying at higher altitude, then you’ll have cooler nights for sleeping. The cottage is……

“Beautiful views and home is appointed as described. There was severe weather resulting in our early departure due to a loss of electrical and plumbing. We were graciously reimbursed for the day we could not stay there. The 3k security deposit was required very early and held for the maximum 14 days after checkout, which I found annoying. The resident host is just lovely and did all she could to accommodate Mother Nature's wrath.”

“This is a real find. The lanai opens up on a tranquil view of the mountains and the air is filled with birdsongs. During my stay, I sat on the lanai for hours and never heard a human voice. The condo was spotless and the kitchen well stocked. The bed was very comfortable. When I arrived I could not find an umbrella or chair and when I communicated with the management they answered immediately. Very very nice spot. ”

“This is a very nice place to unwind. The other condos that we've stayed at are closer to the beach but those areas seem a little more busy and hectic. Out here is less touristy and therefore quieter and relaxed. Much more of a house/home than a mass produced condo feel. ”

“We have stayed here before five years ago. We found it much the same, a nicely appointed property in a nice area. But we were very disappointed to see a multitude of small, but vigorous cockroaches in the kitchen and dining area the first night we were there. After spraying vigorously with bug killer we were able to reduce the number of bugs to a tolerable ( but not zero) level for the rest of our stay.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Check-in and check-out were incredibly easy and straightforward. We had a couple of very minor concerns and maintenance was there first thing the next morning (what incredible service!). The house was lovely and everything we were looking for. Two of my family members are extremely allergic to cats. The listing didn't mention cats at the time of our booking - however, that has been changed. The owner did communicate that there was a feral cat near the home before……

“We loved this place! Perfect setup for us as a family of four and exactly as advertised. Marc was a very helpful friendly owner who went above and beyond a couple times during our stay. Loved the location in particular, super chill and quiet, beautiful property with amazing views. We liked that it was a bit away from the resorts and busier area, but still close that we didn’t feel isolated. Would definitely stay here again ”

“Condo is very well funished. Lots of kitchen utensils and bakeware for cooking at home. We were able to go several days between running the dishwasher because there were so many plates/cups. If you're traveling with small children, plastic dishes are minimal just fyi. Plenty of towels and blankets too. The condo pool was very nice! Short walk and the water was warm. We were a little nervous about no a/c but it never got uncomfortably hot (visited in Dec and Jan) and we were able to keep it……
