“We feel really lucky to have found this location in Upcountry Kula. The lanais provided excellent viewing of both Haleakala and the West Maui mountains. Cool nights and ease of access to all of the surrounding towns and sightseeing opportunities made this a most enjoyable visit for us. To top it off, Steve and Diane were the most wonderful hosts as well as a wealth of information for all things Maui. We would absolutely stay with them again given the opportunity.”

“The property is very tranquil and in a quiet location with beautiful temps, especially in the evening and amazing views. The property is well stocked with everything you can ask for, including family entertainment such as board games, etc. - a home away from home! “Our second stay in this house (top floor only).Easy booking, clear instructions, has as described. Great location for our stay in Hana. Helpful host!We were familiar with the house and it is as advertised. The only issue was two of the fans don't work as they should (one moves little to no air now as compared to our last stay) and the other started making very loud noises during the night and woke 2 of us up. When they are fixed all will be great! ”

“Rain or shine, Hana never fails to disappoint. A stay here is tonic for the soul. After the busy activities in Lahaina area, it felt great to slow down and just be. The home was a tranquil place, beautiful yard of flowers to greet us, a strand of native bananas hung by the door for the picking. Good! We are two older couples and the accommodations were perfect. Close to town, a short walk to a dramatic black lava beach, you can see the ocean from the porch. And the porch....a special……

“Perfect cottage for my husband and myself. Beautiful views of the ocean, and just a short walk to the beach. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed for cooking. The AC in the bedroom was perfect. Close to everything Hana.Highly recommend!”

“we enjoyed it - except for the mosquitos outside (preventing us using the chairs etc on the deck). and NO air cond. , so it was very warm inside -- although the fans helped. Nice to have the TV, and BIG kitchen. nice beds, and bathrooms. I would stay there again -- ”
