“ This house was great for our family trip to Hilo. We had 2 adults and 2 kids, one kid slept on a pull-out couch in the living room and was very comfortable. The house was very nice and clean. The hosts were communicative and answered any questions we had promptly. The house is a little outside Hilo, but it was an easy drive and is located in a nice, quiet neighborhood. We would highly recommend this house for a family looking for a nice, comfortable, safe place to stay in the Hilo area.”

“Christine is very communicative and this is a one of a kind property! The cats ate the best and the thoughtfulness of the design is top notch. We loved all of the ideas about where to go and what to do as well. We had to work a little to figure out how to cool down the rooms quickly but that was more us than the property :). You really felt like you got away from it all!”

“We have been having great experiences in Hawaii at every place we have stayed so far. But I have to mention something special about this property. We stayed here only for one night -but every bit of it was worth it. The staff at the reception desk on 20 th evening - her name is Ipo - was just amazing! We just mentioned that our younger one’s birthday is on 21 st and we wanted to know if there was an option of getting a cake somewhere. Not only she arranged a cake as a courtesy , she got……

“We highly recommend this property. Very relaxing location right by the ocean, you can hear the waves crashing on the rocks below. Beautiful view of the sunrise from the upstairs or downstairs porches.This house is on the edge of a sea cliff so does not have direct access to the waterfront or a beach. Nonetheless it is an excellent base for exploring The Big Island. Quick drive of 5 minutes into the heart of Hilo. Approximately hour and a half to Kona/West coast depending on where you are……
