“The Chateau de Bellefontaine is beautiful, romantic and a treat. Our "room" was actually a very large bedroom and very large bathroom. We felt like royalty. The grounds are something you read of in old novels. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The on-site restaurant provided a delicious dinner at modest prices. The location is a quick walk into Bayeux (so no worrying about parking in town). We enjoyed our brief (2 night) stay very much and would look forward to staying again.”

“Ce n'est pas un hôtel, c'est un gîte. Ce n'est pas indiqué dans le descriptif. Il faut ramener ses draps, serviettes et papier toilette ! Et il faut surtout une lampe torche, car les lodges sont dans la nature, sans aucune lumière ni indication. Il n'y a pas de wifi, pas de télé. Sinon, endroit très calme, très propre. Bon petit-déjeuner, mais attention il est compris dans la réservation, donc pas à payer en sus. ”
