“Quick weekend stay and we really enjoyed the property, location, and Valpo. House had great space, was clean, and close to downtown Valpo. Would definitely stay again.”

“We had a great time overall and plenty of space. While we experienced a few issues with the door code not working, the owners responded promptly to resolve the issue.”

“The only drawback was Air conditioning. It was extremely hot out and at night the bedrooms got a little warm. Loved the room for the family. For an older lake home, I was amazed at solid floors with no squeaks. Family loved the game room and games and toys, as well as the hot tub.”

“Absolute perfection! So glad we decided to start our vacation a day early! Found this on VRBO complete with rescue animals, a pond, multiple acres of flowers and greenery, 2 Airstreams, and our rental loft atop the vintage Blue Barn. We spent the day at Lake Michigan, then came back to the property to relax. We had a bonfire and made s'mores to top off the evening. The following morning it was time to travel to our intended vacation in Traverse City, Michigan. The owners were outside working……

Checkin was easy, communication with management was quick & considerate. Close to Lake Michigan & local shops and restaurants. We hope to visit again. ”

“This trip was absolutely amazing! The Unity Log Cabin has EVERYTHING you need. The check in process was seamless! The Owner communication was quick, timely and accurate! There are not enough good things I can say. Kitchen is completely set up for success. Bedrooms are clean, and well set up. Being on the water with 6 young kids ranging between 3 and 7 the water depth of the lake was a huge asset. I am very thankful for the opportunity to have stayed in such an amazing welcoming……

“We had a fantastic stay at the cottage. Very clean, well stocked. Kathy was awesome. Very helpful with everything. So very kind to allow use of so many water toys. The property is extremely well kept. The whole area is peaceful and very safe. People are very friendly. The cottage is behind the house so a very short walk to the lake, but that makes it very private. We kayaked, played in the water, sat by the fire and watched fireworks and beautiful night sky. Thanks again!!”
