“We have been going to the Blue Chip for our girls weekend for many many years. We have usually had great experiences. However we haven't been there since COVID. So about 3 years. We stayed in the Spa Tower this time and we were really disappointed. Our refrigerator did not work. We called guest services and were on hold for 45 minutes. They never fixed the issue. The furniture was really worn. The staff were pleasant but the restaurant staff were not. There was a lot of confusion in the Cafe.……

“I love staying at this lodge. Its my go to accommodations when traveling to lake michigan in the winter. I love being off the beaten path, the esthetic of the lodge and the supper club/lodge. However, this stay i stood at the front desk for over 15 minutes while the front desk worker was on the phone helping somone else book a room. Only once did she acknowledge me to say "she'd be back" and left the foyer all together for a while. When she did complete the call sometime later she asked how she……

“The hotel was nicely located to both the town and expressway. Our room faced the woods which was a lovely sight to wake up to, and the room was clean. Unfortunately, the room door would not close properly, the safety latch was broken, the closet door latch was broken and would not stay closed. The drape pull was broken off , the lamp shade was taped in place. Nothing major but still disappointing. ”
