“We had a lovely couple of nights stay. It’s a great location for visiting Umhlanga, everyone was lovely and the accommodation was extremely comfortable with a lovely lounge at the top of the property, with a great view of the sea. Highly recommend and will stay again when next visiting”

“Location was ok, the beach was close. Not many restaurants nearby within walking distance. The room was really nice and clean and the garden and the pool were great. We booked via hotels.com a room including breakfast, but at hotel they asked money for the breakfast. Owner of the place was not friendly or helpful. The staff was polite but a little bit helpless and not very good at customer service.”

“First of all they only had one key to the room. This was never communicated to me until Sunday when evening when I found my room the way I left in the morning. I engaged them and only then I found out that I was supposed to leave my key with them. No cutlery, cups glasses in the room for coffee and or eating at night. “Really loved this place. Unique architecture. Beautifully decorated, with a great sense of detail. The staff were amazingly helpful and friendly (shoutout to Abel and Shirley). The owners helped us with a recommendation of a doctor. The location at the beach is great. The pool is beautiful. Views of the ocean from all rooms. We will be back! ”

“The check-in went well, but downhill from there. We had the family room but used 1 room. It was hot! The pool water was deep green and we could not see the bottom. We were told that it was going to be cleaned “tomorrow”. It took days to clean so no pool for 3 days and then the next day we were on a tour. The pool area needed maintenance, as well as some lounge chairs and table, chair and umbrella sets. It had none! The guest living room did not exist since dining table and chairs were……

“The worst service we have ever received from a hotel/Bnb. It was a very hot 32 degree day and the air conditioner was broken in our room. We asked for another room when we we told the bnb was fully occupied which was understandable. We then requested that we get a refund for our accommodation because we couldn’t stay in a room that was so hot. The owner told us we needed to wait for her maintenance guy who was a 2 hour drive away, let alone the amount of time it would take him to repair a broken……
