“Lovely place!”

“The property is absolutely stunning! Beautifully designed, the host has thought of everything to make your stay exceptional. The beds and pillows are comfortable, the towels are fluffy, the coffee and creamers are plentiful and there are even board games and a travel crib! It was perfect for my family. I wish we could have taken advantage of the super location of this property, but unfortunately we were in town for a funeral and didn’t have time to explore. That being said, I grew up near Utica……

“Well maintained; Owner was responsive when we had questions. When the coffee maker didn't work, a new one was delivered the same day! Very convienient to Starved Rock, Buffalo Rock and Matthiessen State Parks. Enjoyed the fire pit out back in the private yard.”

“Large garage to park in. Check in was very easy. Good amount of space for my husband and 2 dogs. Kitchen was spacious and had everything needed for cooking. The information book left was very helpful. Thank you we had a great stay, and the dogs loved the treats and toys! ”

“We enjoyed a wonderful girls’ weekend at this beautiful, historic home. There was space for everyone inside and a cute courtyard with fire pit outside. The location couldn’t be better with a quick walk to shopping and dining. We talked with the housekeeper, who was great and obviously took pride in the facilities. It is clear that the owner is committed to providing a top-notch experience and maintaining the integrity of the home. Thank you!”

“We enjoyed our stay. Very charming. Viewing the TV from the sofa was awkward. Sofa should be facing TV.The stay was very comfortable otherwise. Too many steps to entrance difficult carrying suitcases .”

“We really enjoyed staying at this property. The house was clean and well stocked, there were even amenities for our pups like bowls, pick up bags, treats and toys! It's so hard to find a property that takes larger dogs, but this was not a problem here. The fenced yard was perfect for late night let outs and running around. The location is perfect for accessing Starved Rock and Mathiessen state parks with a very useful write up of different hikes at Starved Rock provided in our welcome materials.……
