There is plenty of space at the house for everyone to have their own rooms. The kids loved playing in the pool in the evening after a long day of exploring. There is tons to do all within about an hour drive of the house, including arenal volcano, zip lines, river tubing, waterfalls, El Salto rope swing, and so much more.”

“This 2 story rental villa has a great view of Volcan Arenal from the second story. It overlooks a farm with elephant grass used for grazing animals. The location is about 2 km south of the center of La Fortuna, so a car is necessary. It is close to several of the tour outfitters that do canyoneering and rafting. It is initially hard to see on your first visit (look for the Sapiens sign on Ruta 702) because the group of 3 houses are set 70 meters south of the road and accessed via a thin 1 lane……

“We had a great time staying in this location. The view of the volcano is so nice, and the yard is beautifully landscaped. Being so close to the highway, you can sometimes hear a bit of traffic, but it wasn't too bad. Having Soda La Palma next door was great! We ate there for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We stayed all over Costa Rica during our 12 day trip, and one of the highlights was the chilera served with the empanadas. The garden behind the soda is beautiful and my daughter loved Balu……

“Accommodated us, prompt replies, pool and jacuzzi were uncovered so debris in jacuzzi. A few tv channels to watch with English language. Home would easily cost over 700 a night if it was in the US. Beautiful and spacious home, with up to date amenities.”
