“We stayed in Bayfield for 3 nights and this house did not disappoint. It’s just a few miles north of downtown Bayfield, and is nestled in the woods in the Brickyard neighborhood. The house is very well cared for, clean, with quality appliances, linens, and bedding. This house is also tastefully decorated without a lot of knick-knacks cluttering up the space. Everything is comfortable in the house and it’s a very quiet area. There is a beautiful screened porch but it was too chilly for us to use……

“The Copper Squirrel is a lovely log cabin in the woods by a beautiful pond in an exquisite setting. The owner, Kerstin, was superb in her communications and her responsiveness, particularly in resolving a double booking issue that was the fault of the booking service and not her. The cabin is lovingly cared for and decorated. There were many amenities including coffee and tea, spices for cooking, many pots and pans for baking, etc, firewood already split to length for a wood stove and an……

“This place was awesome”

“This was the second time we stayed, the first being in 2019. Both times the kitchen was well stocked with anything you would ever need. The entire house was neat, clean, and organized. A wonderful place to stay with family or friends and visit the surrounding area and all it has to offer. With so much to see and do in the area it’s easy to be on the go, but plan to stay an extra day or two to just enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the estate. ”

“We make an annual trip to the area to snowmobile. We still come even if the snow conditions don't allow for snowmobiling because the entire area is just a great place to spend time with our group of best friends!We will definitely book this spot again!”

“Can't get over the tranquility, and serenity of this sweet cozy cabin :) We had celebrated our 30th anniversary prior to our arrival, so to end the week at the cabin was perfect. We enjoyed the Apple Festival while we were there. We hiked out of Meyer's Beach one day, and had a lovely dinner at the Old Rittenhouse Inn. Simply lovely, once again!!!”

“This property was very clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend it!”

“We had plenty of space to enjoy ourselves. The updated living space was nice. The bedrooms were more of a cabin feel - spacious but not updated. The bathrooms were updated, small but nice. I enjoyed the ease of being able to walk to town. The outdoor deck furniture needs replacing except for a few of the folding chairs.”

“A very cozy little cabin! Perfect size for two or small family. Very accommodating hosts. Wonderful weather! Great place to relax; lovely fire pit outdoors. Kitchenware was well stocked. Close to beach and forest for adventuring. Well utilized space. We would very much enjoy returning!!”
