“Roomy, clean, well appointed, excellent location, quiet, comfortable. No AC but was not an issue as the unit cools down quickly in the evening and we found ourselves wearing sweaters in the morning. Host is an excellent communicator and works to make your stay effortless. We loved it. ”

“My wife and I loved our stay here. The house was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Sitting on the front deck was very relaxing with the stream flowing right in front. We spent most of our time out exploring, there is so much to do in this area. The hike to the top of the lookout tower was amazing (best to drive up thru Bassets and then towards Packer Lake so that you don't have to drive up the rough unpaved road from Sierra City). “This was our second stay, so I guess we must like it. Seems like they improved the shower since last time, so that was nice. TV was a little difficult to get up and running but we eventually managed. Only other (very minor) thing would be to flip the hinges on the refrigerator door so it opens on the other side. Everything else was just fine!”
