“The tent cabin is really cute and was comfortable for a family of four. We used the sauna and also rented the boat for a couple of days. It is on the steep driveway, which isn’t a problem for us since our car is four-wheel-drive, but you will want to avoid driving to the bottom if you have a 2 Wheel Dr. car. Be aware that the lakefront is not swimmable because of high vegetation, but the lake itself is beautiful and great to take a boat on. Close to Grand Rapids and many other activities. ”

“I love this quaint, cozy cabin—such a wonderful space for a retreat. The amenities were perfect. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook meals. The bed was comfy and I looked forward to the hot showers after being outside hiking on the trails in the woods. Awesome Getaway!”

“Beautiful property. I'm pretty sure the pictures were updated on the listing after we booked so we didn't know how good the dock was. Had I seen those pics I would have had a rental pontoon delivered to us which is readily available in the area. The 2nd bathroom is very strange as the walls don't go all the way to the ceiling and it is directly next to the kitchen. Did not feel private at all. Other than that, it was perfect and just what we needed for a weekend getaway. We would book it again……

“We brought our family up for the weekend while our kids did ski races at nearby Mt Itasca. The cabin was exactly as advertised, clean and in a great location. We didn't get to use the boathouse, but it looked cute. Would for sure stay here again.”
