“The caboose was lovely, cozy and comfortable. There is a street light on the adjacent corner to the caboose which reflects light into the downstairs bedroom. It’s very bright in the bedroom at night which did affect sleep. A blackout shade perhaps? Otherwise we loved our stay!”

“This place is so cute and set up with everything you need to be comfortable. We spent time at the river (7 min walk from property), Herron Lake and El Vado Reservoir. We didn’t catch any fish, unfortunately, but everywhere we went was really beautiful. Abby is an amazing host, super helpful, kind and accommodating. ”

“Spacious and comfortable for 6 adults to relax indoors and out. Well supplied kitchen, which is good because you should plan to cook your meals. Restaurant scene in Chama is seeing some turnover. Only one cafe was open during our mid-week stay. Walking distance to the train station, which is well worth the visit. Forested area with elk and deer in and around the town. Beautiful country, I would come again. ”

“Enjoyed staying at the Buffalo Run cabin. Access to Chama and the Cumbres train depot is less than 10 minutes. Clean. Saw several deer around the cabin area in early mornings. Kitchen is well stocked with all the essentials you need. General things like salt, pepper spices and pan spray ,/ olive oil were available for use. The host allowed us to stay an extra day added on to our original dates. Host was very responsive to any text or calls we made for things we may have wanted to know. ……

“This 2 bedroom apartment above the boutique was perfect for our stay. This property is located right across the street from the Cumbres and Toltec train which is why we were in Chama.The property managers were in contact as needed and provided us with great information. We had a great time and enjoyed our stay. This property is on the Main Street but it was quiet and peaceful. I would highly recommend this property. We loved it!!”

“Beautiful little house, It was very clean and updated. I loved the large yard for our puppy. Beds were clean and comfortable, it was very nice that there was a laundry room with laundry soap. Would love to stay here again if we visit chama again. Also there was a nice little coffee shop that we walked to a couple blocks away.”
