“This is our 3rd stay at “The Getaway.”It’s a wonderful place for all ages. If you need a break and place to reset from the daily grind this is the sanctuary to do so. We enjoy the quiet to read and reconnect with family on the porch over a cup of coffee or a meal at the table. Our family enjoys playing card or board games or walks down to the river. We always come home refreshed! Abby is a gracious host who provides an inviting atmosphere for all to enjoy! We look forward to returning this Fall.”

“Having Family in Chama we have always stayed with family. This year we tried something different and rented a cabin. This cabin was beautiful and it made our stay more authentic. It had the perfect amount of beds for everyone with us and it was equipped with everything we needed. “A very nice cabin with excellent amenities. We were impressed with the attention to detail of everything. We found the cabin to be in very good condition and very COMFORTABLE. From the linens to the kitchen utensils, it was well furnished making for a very enjoyable stay. I would have appreciated a grill, but it was not too inconvenient.
