“This 2 story rental villa has a great view of Volcan Arenal from the second story. It overlooks a farm with elephant grass used for grazing animals. The location is about 2 km south of the center of La Fortuna, so a car is necessary. It is close to several of the tour outfitters that do canyoneering and rafting. It is initially hard to see on your first visit (look for the Sapiens sign on Ruta 702) because the group of 3 houses are set 70 meters south of the road and accessed via a thin 1 lane……

“Everything was great. By far the best host I’ve dealt with. Was given very detailed instructions upon checking in. Literally had no questions from start to finish. The house was close enough to town to be convenient but far enough away to be away from the hustle and bustle. We felt safe and secure throughout our stay. ”
