“We had a wonderful weekend at The Nutmeg Inn! The lovely Inn welcomes you with a feeling of nostalgia and comfort. We were greeted by Karen and Kevin and felt relaxed immediately. The breakfast of Kevin's homemade sourdough bread, scones, yogurt with Karen's homemade granola, fruit and Gruyere cheese egg bites were absolutely delicious. “The hotel is outdated, but very clean rooms, I did not check bathtub, but toilet and sink area we're fine. I care more about cleanliness of floor and the bed was very clean and comfortable. I stayed in a single bed room, we requested a refrigerator for diabetic supplies and it was fine. No microwave in room, but microwaves at end of hallway. Breakfast was fine sausage egg cheese croissant that I heated in microwave, and bagels and toaster and fresh fruit and yogurt and coffee, orange juice and……

“Steele Hill is absolutely beautiful! My room was clean and comfy and reasonably priced for a resort! I will say check in can be confusing as they said I was staying in the main building. The map only says east building, west building etc. You would think the brightly lit building on the hill would be the main building, but that’s incorrect. A sign outside the buildings would be really helpful, especially for people arriving after dark like I did! Also, the hotel is located on the top of a hill,……

“We had a wonderful stay at the Lake Wentworth Inn - great accommodations! We only were there for one night, and really enjoyed the beautiful Wolfeboro area! Tammy was very friendly, courteous and helpful with my booking!”

“It was a really nice trip and would love to stay longer sometime. The room was clean and spacious. I had everything I needed if I wanted to bring in my own groceries and cook, but I was only there for a few days and chose to dine out. The mattress is firm, so if you're used to soft it may be an adjustment. Water got good and hot. Property is managed well, and grounds are very well taken care of. I will definitely stay again if I get the opportunity.”
