“We were a group of 7 adults and had a nice weekend stay. The house was clean and well furnished and the outdoor area is great. When I contacted the host with questions a few days before our stay they got back to me quickly. The only negatives were: a few of the items they said were included in the listing were actually not (firewood, paper towel, no hand soap in the kitchen); the bathroom in the primary bedroom has a jetted tub but only a handheld attachment for showers (it is not mounted) which……

“It was clean, easy to find, owners communicated fast. Beds were comfy, kitchen was fully equipt. I would definently stay here again. We went to Timber Ridge Ski Resort and had a blast and only 3 mins down the road. ”

“We were able to relax on the generous deck. The kitchen was functional for many to visit and work at the same time The large family room with couches was great for watching the World Cup on the huge TV, disappointing as the outcome was. The many bedrooms accommodated our large family very well.”

“The cottage is very cute and a great place for a solo vacation alongside a lake! Everything needed for cooking is available in the kitchen, and plenty of room in the fridge for groceries needed on vacation. I was able to use the kayak available, and it was on a small rolling cart so was easy for me to pull it just down the street to the public launch. A morning kayak on the lake before all the motorboats and jetskis come out was very peaceful and beautiful. I walked across the street to……

“We love this spot and will come back, either in the Fall to sit around the fire on the patio or next year for Blueberry season. The stars at night were lovely. You're close to Douglas/Saugatuck and can enjoy all they have to offer but return 'home' for quiet evenings and mornings (with a lovely rooster next door). The goodies were much appreciated! On the next visit, we want to tour the artist studio :) ”
