“We loved staying at this well-equipped house as we explored the Western Sierras a bit. I was there with one adult daughter and my 16 yo son. Even though there are neighbors, they weren't super close and I felt like we had privacy. The deck is great for grilling and chilling. My kids enjoyed nearby Big Trees State Park, and we also made a day trip to Murphys, which is a charming little old west mountain town. The check-in process was very easy. “This was a great place to stay. It has that true cozy cabin feel but with modern touches that make it extra special. The home is decorated thoughtfully and feels warm and welcoming the moment you walk in.The hosts went above and beyond with amenities—there was a coffee stand with creamers and snacks, plus a thoughtful little gift basket of nuts waiting for us. “My husband and I booked a stay in May for his birthday and brought our beagle with us. First impressions: cabin was very clean. There was also an abundance of clean, cozy blankets to use and various items to make our pup feel welcome too. We enjoyed a walk around the reservoir every morning and evening in addition to the meadow view from the porch. The area: Pinecrest Lake is about 20 min away. We enjoyed exploring the area. The lake is breathtaking. There’s also a really neat little community……
