“You will not find a more unique property or fascinating couple who are your hosts. They designed this volcanic tent/cottage resort with a panoramic view of Lake Atitlan and her Volcanoes. An amazing dining hall/bar etched into the volcanic rock with cusine made from scratch from your incredible Hosts Jochen y Gabbie. The sous vide steak/lomito was delicious. The nights under the moon and stars with the sounds of nature all around, make this a must stay at the lake. Hosts will hire private boats……

“The house is dirty, smells humid, dust everywhere, no hot water after 1 minute of shower, no a/c, everything is old and outdated, sheets and towels were stained, it’s in the middle of nowhere in the jungle. We found a scorpion in the bedroom. The only good thing is who manages de property, that service is amazing and will help you get everything organized and scheduled, but the actual property is not at all how it seems in the photos. I definitely do not recommend staying here or would stay……

“Breathtaking views, beautiful aesthetic, very attentive and kind staff. Keep in mind there is no A/C or fan in the room, but in March with the window open, we slept fine. ”

“Condo was clean and it was great to have drinkable water on tap. It’s a very bright unit with windows all around so you’ll be up early with the daylight. The shower was nice and the property felt very safe. ”

“Everything was excellent at Posada de Don José. Check in was simple and they let us check in early. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are simple, but very clean and comfortable. I will stay again if I come back to Pana. ”

“This hotel in villas was an oasis of calm a block away from the clamor of the main road. Waking up to Birdsong is one memory I will cherish in this place. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast good too. It’s located about a 10 minute walk from the Atitrans shuttle stop or the Embarcadero, and about 15 minutes from the public beach. I recommend this for anyone thinking of staying in Panajachel.”
