“It was a little too cold at night to sleep with the windows open to listen to the river as we slept but the rain on the roof made up for that. The only bad nights sleep was when we thought we needed to set our alarm to wake up early. We never set the alarm the rest of our stay. The neighbors to the left put up a no trespassing sign so we couldn’t walk along the river back and that was sad for us. But the home was great. Would definitely rent this home again. ”

“Cute house, the two small bedrooms aren’t great for adults. It was really handy to have a washer and dryer. The place is equipped with pots and pans (we did buy a frozen pizza and didn’t have a pan to cook it on), soap, toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags. You need to bring things like foil, Saran Wrap, ziploc bags. “Nick’s place is such a gem - not only is it incredibly clean and well-cared for, but you get to be right on the river. We never get to bring our dogs on vacation because so many places have weight limits on dogs (which is totally fair), so it was a really special treat to get to bring our two big dogs with us. We had a great time watching a bald eagle from the couch and enjoying a fire after long hikes. The kitchen is very well-stocked, which made cooking easy. Nick was super responsive and……

“This rental was just what I needed. It was close to family in Sedro Woolley, in addition to being a great location for enjoying all this area of the PNW has to offer. The space is comfortable and had everything I needed to feel settled during my stay. Do bring some earplugs if you might be bothered by the occasional train noise. ”

“We enjoyed our stay. This is a nice roomy house in an upscale neighborhood of Mt Vernon, it was well stocked and had a nice yard for the kids. We found the bed arrangement different from the listing and one couple had to sleep in twin beds.I emailed the host to request a late check out and never received a reply Overall it was a very pleasant stay.”
