“My husband, our two kids, and I spent a wonderful weekend here exploring Vashon Island. This place is beautiful, and perfect for relaxing. We loved sitting on the deck, watching the tide and spotting wildlife. I highly recommend it for a relaxing family getaway with older kids. ”

“Lovely place! Very comfortable and well appointed. The area is lovely as well. We had the opportunity to see all kinds of beautiful wildlife (seals, otters, birds) and enjoy the quiet mornings. Just be aware that the parties at the net shed can be somewhat loud and despite their obvious attempts to shut the party down by 10pm and respect the quiet hours, people didn’t actually clear out completely until about 11pm. We normally wouldn’t have minded but we had an early flight to catch so we were……

“The boat was very inviting, clean and equipped with a nice coffee press, plush towels and plenty of dishware for a relaxing stay.The boat presented very well and had comfortable beds and linens for a sound and rejuvenating sleep.The location was ideal with parking onsite and plenty of shops, restaurants and breweries nearby within walking distance.I look forward to return visits in the near future, this as the Shamrockin is a special place.”

“Wonderful experience and the host was so nice! She stopped by to make sure everything was to our liking and even told us about some of the places in the area to eat or things to do. She even let us pick apples off the tree in our front yard! The property was perfect for my son myself and my little dog we had everything we could need and then some and of course the location was superb the views of Seattle and Mount Rainier were amazing!”

“My wife and I got away for a long weekend after being kid-free. We brought kayaks and wanted to explore the area. We enjoyed the location very much, with easy access to Hoodsport and Hama Hama. The access to the water wasn't as easy as we hoped, but the fact that there's a little county park in front of the house did work out for us. The neighbors seem very protective of the beach though, so that's weird. Luckily the smoke from the Bear Gulch fire didn't come down low enough to bother us either,……

“We had never been glamping before; this getaway must be the perfect example of it! Every need was anticipated and met. The "cabin" is easy to get to, but feels miles away from the world. The site is tidy and thoughtfully laid out. The bed was ridiculously comfortable, but beware: it takes up almost all the floor space of the cabin. Communication with our host was excellent. “I was looking for a quiet space with a view and that’s exactly what I got! Beautiful views from the huge back porch and some seals visited near the shore! At low tide you can find lots of shells and see some starfish. I would stay here again. It is also dog-friendly and my pups had a great time running up and down the shore.”
