“This cottage was a lovely place for a weekend getaway for 3 adult siblings, spouses, and our dogs. The house was very clean and had an open floorplan that was conducive to visiting and playing board games. The kitchen was very thoroughly equipped. While the cottage is clearly geared towards summer rental, it was also lovely in the winter. It was warm and cozy and we loved the easy access to Lake Michigan, which was stunning in the ice and fresh snowfall. The only slight concern for us was that……

“This was a 4 day getaway to relax. While there is no water view from the property, a short walk and some steps led us to the perfect semiprivate beach. There were umbrellas, chairs and 2 kayaks available to use. Despite it being mid September, the water was swimmable and the temps were high 80s. We brought our dogs with us and they loved swimming in the water. I can't speak to how busy it is during the peak summertime, but we had the entire stretch to ourselves. Loved that! “Overall the place is wonderful and we enjoyed the amenities. My teenaged boys enjoyed the game room, pool at night, beach, fire pit. I loved the bed, having a kitchenette, and the coffeemaker. Much better than a typical hotel version. I’d caution using suite 10 for more than two people. The sleeper was what you’d expect a sleeper to be - not comfortable! The bed is amazing though. The bathroom could use more hooks for drying beachwear. I think instructions or information in general could be……
