“This was a 4 day getaway to relax. While there is no water view from the property, a short walk and some steps led us to the perfect semiprivate beach. There were umbrellas, chairs and 2 kayaks available to use. Despite it being mid September, the water was swimmable and the temps were high 80s. We brought our dogs with us and they loved swimming in the water. I can't speak to how busy it is during the peak summertime, but we had the entire stretch to ourselves. Loved that! “The location of this hotel is ideal. Close to Michigan City, New Buffalo and a 5 min walk to the lake. The hotel offers so many things for the convenience of the guests. We stayed in Suite 11 which happens to be the only room with direct balcony access overlooking the pool which was great. We had 1 bedroom and a couch with a pull out bed. The bedroom bed was excellent however the pull out bed was sub par. Extremely uncomfortable. There was no maid service or turndown service like a normal hotel……

“Cool beachy vibe, easy in and out access. Walking distance to beach and close proximity to local coffee shops and wineries. The space was cozy and sort of like an extra large hotel room with full kitchenette. If you are looking for something different than the common hotel definitely recommend. The only thing i would change is the shower head...plenty of water pressure but thats just one simple easy change. We loved the stay.”

“When our son’s high school baseball team found out we would be playing the semi state tournament in Laporte, we had 3 days to make arrangements for the weekend. Instead of the overpriced, basic hotels in Laporte, we opted to go north about 20 min for Sarah’s home. We’re so glad we did! The 5 of us had plenty of space, slept well on her comfy beds, enjoyed the peaceful neighborhood & of course, the hot tub! “Nicely decorated apartment with everything we needed. Convenient location, within walking distance to market square/downtown. Hosts were pleasant and very quick to respond. The only issue was AC units were having trouble keeping the apartment cool in the summer heat. ”
