“The location was perfect and the house was adequate however the house was not as listed. When checking in we were contacted by our host that a fine would be incurred for flushing toilet paper down toilet?? The back yard was awful. There was animal feces all over which was a concern as we have dogs. No gas for grill. No detergent for dishwasher/washing machine. No dishtowels. Low quality bath towels. “Over all I enjoyed my stay but it started off bad. Not cleaned to my standards. Tables were sticky but there was cleaning materials so I could take care of it. There was open bar soap left in the shower and one of the sinks. I know not to use but it’s bad to think of handling something that has been on the body of an unknown person. The worst part was the sheets were dirty. There was a washer so I took care of that also but washing sheets upon arrival. Does not make for a good start of vacation.……

“Had a wonderful stay in April. We were out of towners, in Pontiac for a wedding. I used to live in Pontiac back in the 80's and downtown Pontiac has really come along. We highly recommend Fillmore 13 Brewery. Yes, the house is old and it has a lot of character too. We enjoyed the multi bedroom/bathroom house and we especially enjoyed the big kitchen - we fixed breakfast there every morning. Communication with the owner was excellent - I left a coat there and arranged to pick it up the next……

“First, note that you are not communicating directly with the owner(s) as they use a third party based in the Philippines and that the owner(s) actually live next door, which at first was okay - but then when concerns arose, they pretty much ghosted us. Amenities were important due to the length of our stay. We arrived to a note on the counter that the washing machine and dishwasher were broken, but they would do their best to get them fixed. “I was looking for a cabin to spend the weekend with my husband and 2 dogs. The cabin has a warm feel to it. It has games to play, hot tub and sauna. About 50 steps in the back yard is the fire pit then about 100ish steps to the pond. You can’t see the pond from the house but from the hot tub you can! The pond was awesome, there was 2 kayaks, 2 paddle boards and a paddle boat. The kitchen and bathroom are brand new and very nice. I unfortunately gave a two on cleanliness. There was some areas……
