“This is a very basic hotel. But despite the many shortfalls ( like no toilet amenities, breakfast was just eggs and bread, no wifi in rooms, hotel is on the main road so it is noisy) I can still say that I made a good decision to stay in this hotel. They communicated well with me prior to my arrival so they made proper arrangements for my hotel transfer. They also hooked me up with a local guide for tours.  Staff was helpful. The local guide the hotel contacted for me was VERY good. His name……

“This is my favorite spot in all of Ethiopia. It was my second stay at this hotel and proved to be as special as the first. The beds are comfortable and there was plenty of hot water for a shower. The view from the balcony is extraordinary with crows, eagles and hawks flying at by. The morning coffee was delicious and everyone was extremely accommodating and kind. I highly recommend.”

“in questo periodo la struttura è praticamente chiusa, eravamo gli unici due ospiti, in tutta la zona i turisti sono pochissimi, ed essendo in piena Africa non ci sono strade e ci si deve aspettare polvere e in realtà selvaggia, siamo stati accolti bene da chi ha gestito questa struttura e si è è messa a completa disposizione per i nostri bisogni; se siete pronti ad una vacanza, hard andateci altrimenti cambiate destinazione”

“It has a great view of Lalibela from the bar, the restaurant, and the patio. It seems the property has not kept up probably due to the downtown of tourism and economy. My room had only one working table lamp so I ate my dinner in the dark. The staff were helpful and friendly. It was an average stay overall. ”
