“I stayed at the Sugar Shack for a week with my extended family, including my 2 and 4 year old. Everything about our stay was outstanding. The property is beautiful and well laid out, with the ability to have child, family, and living space set apart. The hosts were attentive and considerate, and even extended our check out to account for bad weather on the roads without being asked. Yhe hardest part of staying was having to leave, and we’d jump at the chance of staying here again.”

“My husband and I really enjoyed the serenity of this beautiful lakefront chalet! It was wonderful to sit, and read on the deck with just the sound of birds, and the beautiful views of the lake. We enjoyed watching a loon playing out on the lake as well. My husband enjoyed fishing off the dock, and caught several fish. John was very good with communication as well. ”

“This was a scenic, rustic, alpine house overlooking loon mountain. It was so convenient getting too and from the mountain and was an amazing property. We are so happy with this stay!!”

“We enjoyed our stay, the kitchen was well equipped, the pool table and yard full of snow were a big hit. The loft bedroom was great for the kids (9&11) The floor to very high ceiling windows were stunning and let in amazing warm light. The furniture was a little rough all of the dinning room chairs were very loose and the couch was an issue because the recliners wouldn't close. We tried to let the owner know and never got a response. Overall good house for the value and would recommend staying……

“Lovely cottage on a pretty lake. The lake is not that small, but farily quiet with very few boats (I did not see any motorboats at all, even electric ones—just kayas and pedal boats). The property comes with access to a nice beach down the road, but we never bothered—we just stepped in off the dock or off our SUP. ”
