“The cabin and location are great. Everything was as described. I wasn’t impressed with the cleanliness. There were stains on the floor from spills and marks/crumbs on end tables from previous guests having drinks/food. It’s nice that pets are allowed but with that comes additional cleaning that was missed. Pet hair on furniture and a spot by one of the doors that appeared to be from a pet having an accident. “Good property and everyone had an enjoyable stay. Wasn't completely clean when we arrived but the host had messaged us the day of that there had been a huge mess left by the previous guests and the cleaners might have missed some things so it was forgivable. ”

“Stayed a few days and boated on the Mississippi. The house was nice and as per the listing. We weren't prepared for the train traffic (literally 50 ft in front of the house), especially when 2-3 trains passed during the nights, blowing their horns the whole time. Lansing is a nice little town with some decent restaurants. Overall, we will likely return to do it again!”

“I booked this trip for my boyfriend who is obsessed with trains. This was a great surprise for him and came at the perfect time after a stressful weekend. It was such a great get away and a good reset before jumping back to reality. There were some concerning areas with hair left in the shower, a brown sludge/ residue in the hot tub, and overall dirt/ dust build up in the caboose. We definitely will be back!”

The wifi worked great, no work interuptions and access to the backyard to get some sun and view of the river couldn't be beat. The hot tub was the perfect place to relax after work and Gabby was super responsive with whatever issues/questions we had.
